Biography
Wenny Setiawati is a member of Law, Economic, and Technology Department in Law Faculty, Universitas Indonesia. She graduated from Law Faculty, UI since 2002 with major in International Law. She pursued her master degree in Business Law in University of Wisconsin. After she graduated, she continue to be a lecturer in different classes such as Law on Internasional Trade, The Law of Business Organization, The Commercial Paper Law, and Professional Responsibility and Ethics. She got her certification of lecturer in 2012 and continue to do research and community engagement other than lecturing. Now, she is the secretary for Law, Economic, and Technology in Law Faculty UI.
Other than her interest in Economical Law, she also known as an expert ini e-commerce, international trade, and international investment. In those last two topics she is also actively doing work together with national institutions as legal expert providing opinion, discussion, and advocacy for some legal problem. Wenny also a member of Association for Economic Law Lecturers in national level. She is also part of Society of International Economic Law, Sentra Hak Asasi Manusia, and one of the founder of Legal Center of International Trade and Investment (LCITI) a research center under the Djokosoetono Research Center of Law Faculty, UI.
