Prof. Yetty Komalasari Dewi participated as a speaker in an initial discussion on the preparation of a policy study to strengthen Indonesia’s investment negotiation and implementation functions, as well as outward investment and potential outward investment projects in South Africa. The discussion was organised by the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM and held on 29 August 2025 in Bandung.
The forum brought together academics, practitioners, and relevant stakeholders to provide early input on the scope, methodology, and direction of the proposed study. Discussions focused on strengthening Indonesia’s position in international investment agreements, improving their implementation, and supporting outward investment as part of Indonesia’s broader strategy to enhance investment competitiveness and expand into international markets.
