SMU’s Indonesia Corporate Law and Governance: Expert Analysis on Timely Issues

Prof. Yetty Komalasari Dewi delivered a presentation at the Yong Pung How School of Law, Singapore Management University on 27 August 2024 as part of the academic forum entitled “Indonesia Corporate Law and Governance: Expert Analysis on Timely Issues.”

The presentation, “Business Judgment Rule and Corporate Criminal Liability: Case Study of Indonesian State-Owned Enterprises,” examined the application of the Business Judgment Rule in the context of state-owned enterprises, including its reception and development within Indonesian corporate law. Drawing on selected case studies, the discussion highlighted the role of the Business Judgment Rule in evaluating directors’ decisions and its implications for corporate criminal liability in state-owned enterprises.
